My check engine light is coming on frequenly. I want to buy a code reader but I cannot determin if it is an OBD I or an OBD II. It is a 95 Mystique LS V6. also the radiator light comes on and stays on for about 5 min when it is first started. I replaced the sensor in the over flow bottle it did not help.

fill your radiator tank about a half inch above the max line, and that should kill the radiator light..

95s are OBD-1. Try adding more coolant till your about 1" past full on the overflow bottle. This is a common fix. Try searching for "paperclip" if you want to learn a quick/cheap shortcut for finding the CEL codes on a 95. BTW: The error code #s are different than on OBD2. Post your CEL code here and someone should be able to tell you what it means in OBD-1 speak. Also BTW: Autozone and some other auto part shops will scan you computer for you for free. Just make sure they know its OBD1
