here's the deal.

Last November I got a ticket for speeding, but I had it deferred through Thurston County. The condition is as long as I do not get any more tickets for a year, it will not show on my records.

September 9th I got into an accident that totaled the truck I had(Which leads me to my CSVT) and just a few days ago I got a ticket in the mail for the accident. There is no way I can contest it and win, so I sent it in as a mitigation.

I am wondering if it is possible to talk the judge into paying the ticket, without it going onto my record? What are my options? If one ticket goes on, then both go on.

Please help!!!!

oh by the way, the accident happened in pierce county, so Thurston does not know about it yet.

1998 CSVT I will get around to getting an intake at some point......maybe even put those PS and ALT pulleys on.

Unfortunately, I think you are out of luck. Because it is a moving violation, there is no way they will let you just pay the ticket without it going on your record. You would have to fight the ticket and get it dropped in order for it not to go on your record.

Just a thought. If you had a bench probation for one year from last November, you might not need a big delay. Maybe you can INITIALLY contest the new ticket, and hope the hearing date is pretty far out on the calendar, and then LATER you contact the court about doing a plea change on the new ticket, after the deferral probation period is up on the old ticket. MAYBE that would work, maybe it would not.

Good luck.
