OK i would like to know if anyone has the DMD or what ever it is called, my CSVT just started making this noise when it is cold, sounded like it was holding a Bflat note out for a couple seconds until i hit the throttle a little. any sugestions on were the best place to buy one is? and also the throtle hang is back and i can not seem to fix it, Eric i know you mentioned helping me out but unfortunatly i have not been to st charles in a while.

thanks for teh help guys! i also need to get teh water pump replaced the coolant light flickered yesterday and the coolant level is FULL so i dunno why it did that.

What you have is the moose. The DMD has nothing to do with moosing, its an updated crank pulley. What you want is right here (in the FAQs):

EDIT: I just noticed you said that the throttle-hang is "back." Does this mean you already did the TH fix? If so, you might want to try a different size hole in the restrictor cap.

Yeah i tried to do the TH fix but it didnt work... but i dont think i got the right plug...
also the moosing i dont think is the problem, i never run the air conditioner... or the heater. but in the morning i start the car and then when its warm i come out and take off... BUT latley in the colder weather the engine has been making a low harmonic hum come from the engine bay.

does anypone have a better picture than those in the FAQ's section? i need to get this taken care of.. woudl a super chip solve the problem? sounds like its a emissions thing.

Or actually what cap am i supposed to get for the TH problem? i just bought this one from the hardware store that looked like it would fit but i dunno if it did. i wonder if anyoen has teh part #? or where i coudl fine the part #. and is teh Moosing the same thing as the throttle hang....
