A few months ago I had a problem getting into third gear. So I take the car to a recomended trans. mech. The guy took 3 and a half weeks to get the 3rd gear syncro replaced. I was happy to get it back after it sat in his parking lot for almost a month. And I couldnt get into reverse. The guy put a cap or something on backwards wich made it pop out of gear. Another 3 days without my SVT. When I got it back the second time I started driving and all seemed well. I took it easy for a while just incase the new part needed to wear in. Last week I was racing a beefed up civic and pulling through first and second. then third gear just grinded. (when I had the problem the first time I couldnt up or down shift now I cant upshift in high rpms but can down shift to third at 5 g's with no prob) And its hard to push into first's gate from a dead stop.
My tranny and mechanic suck!!!!!!!!!
Any sugestions other than take it back to mr badwrench? (mr goodwrench is not the place I took the car...just thought it was funny)
