OP Temujin New CEG\'er T Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 26 Canada	Went to start the car this morning but couldn't... the key won't turn to the "start" position but the ATX shifter will shift to any position with key in "run". Any clues on a fix? It was working perfectly fine until last night.

TsaiShen_dup1 CEG\'er T Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 191 Hamilton, Ontario	try to turn the steering wheel, kind of jiggle it while turning the key. '95 Contour SE - MTX All stock...except for my Canadian Tire cup holder 270,000 kms (April 2004) GO BABY GO!

To disengage, you need to jiggle your wheel back and forth while turning the key. This system is engaged by turning the wheel after the key is out of the ignition.
