If you replace D60 A2s with X1s, your mileage may improve, and you may have quieter, longer last tires, but cornering performance and sportiness will suffer quite a bit.
X1s are not H-rated performance tires, Dunlop D60 A2s are.

I guess no one here checked the math. This should have sent red flags flying all over the place. 8.1L/100Km = 12.34Km/L = 29.02MPG. Sorry to burst the bubble no matter how you slice or dice it it comes to 29MPG. Even if you use the Imperial gallon instead of the US gallon you still get only 34.855 MPIG

SVT, I thank you and my family thanks you. Damn.I have a link to a mileage converstion chart that apparently is not worth a damn. Anyway, I'm still very pleased with that mileage. Did I mention the car has over 200,000km's on the OD?

Was that site you used this one? http://www.onlineconversion.com/ Still you did get some good MPG! I drove to Chilliwack from Edmonton and Averaged 27 MPG and at some points in the trip I was able to get about 32 MPG! Although that was downhill! Stephen

Here's my story..... I drove from OH to VA this past week. On the way down, I filled up with Marathon premium, and used the A.C. for maybe half of the trip. I got 28.8 MPG. On the way back, I filled up with Shell regular and went home with windows open and got an amazing 33.4 MPG!! I have been so happy since then....

Last week, I traveled from Harrisburg, PA to Greenville, TN (A/C on, Cruise set to about 78)and averaged about 30MPG (did the math in my head. Will find a calculator and get true reading)!!! This was about 450 miles (one way)and 95% highway.
