Was driving home last night and go to shift into 4th and the shifter gets really loose on me and although it moves back and forth is clearly not shifting. Im stuck in 3rd gear. I managed to limp home, and took the shift apart and it looks like this: (B & M short throw shofter). Any insight on how to fix this or am I gonna need a new shifter?

I tried reaching in there and popping it back on, but that doesnt appear like its going to work.
