Seems extremely high to me! $1000 is about the norm in my neck of the woods.

I guess I should have clarified things...
2900 for the entire thing...meaning, long block (30K salvage yardmotor) plus install.

that certainly makes a difference...not a bad price in my opinion...maybe could be still a bit cheaper, but u gotta pay what u gotta pay
99 expedition eddie bauer, 5.4 v8, k&n drop-in, 3" magnaflow catback and gas mileage that makes the contour look like a hybrid
