I was rudely reminded the other morning of last winter's cold leather seats, so I went ahead and got me a seat heater kit It just got here with UPS today, so now I need to install it...Generally I don't like to do anything invloving the electrical system in fear of creating gremlins...and looking at the instructions, I don't know if I really want to tackle this myself. Anyways, any idea of how hard it really is to do myself? I know you put them in your SVT, Journie, any pointers for a fellow SW-VA-ian?

Sweet! Thanks.

I found this thread: http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=groupbuy&Number=420673&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1 in the GB forum. Looks like they don't draw much, and you can just wire them in with the power seats.

It seems they're the same unit I got from what I can tell. Kit seems nice, but of course I have yet to install it

Sorry I just saw this.
Its fairly easy to do.Youll have to remove the seats and take the leather back.Youll need a pair of hog ring pliers and hog rings.
It will take a couple hours to instal, wire up and mount your switches.
Dont Tap into the power seat wiring.Run it all the way to the fuse box.Save yourself some troubles if you leave the switch on,the power seats have power to them at all times. So if you leave the heaters on,there goes your battery and maybe a fire....
Wire them to a switched power.
If your ever down my way I would be happy to help.
