Well ford screwed up again...they did the heater blower recall on my car and now the fuse which controls the blower motor,reverse lights, and turn signals keeps blowin. Anybody else have this prob?

I had to take mine back after having the recall performed. The switch would be at full in any position. I guess they cheaped out and just replaced a small peice if wire, rather than the whole harness. Just take it back and say it's not working properly. They should fix it at no charge.

I had problems as well. Took my car in for some routine maintenance (mistake) and they decided to be nice and do the recall even though I didn't mention it. The fan was working fine before this. After two weeks, I started getting all of the symptons of the recall!!!!!! So, whatever they did brought on my problems. I ended up fixing it myself.

That recall was awful!! Twice it made my fan get all nutty. First time the fan motor caught fire, and screwed everything up. It was still under warranty, however I was without a car for 5 days. Second time it was covered by the recall (Thank GOD!!) but the fan went wild and ate a hole through the housing for it, and ended up chewing up a bunch of under dash wires. It was a terrible thing. So they had to replace the entire under dash assembly thing. 6 days, and about $4000 later I got my car back. Thankfully Ford paid for that one. It was truly awful. Get it fixed. Having it start pouring pink smoke out from the dash, and go all wild on the freeway is a scary scary thing.
