Can anybody tell me how compression is mesured AND what should be the result on the regular Duratec 2.5L at 30,000 miles .

I have to get mine checked ASAP.

See (Water pump failed at 53kk) for history

Both in April Ford Countour SE
5MTX 1996/27kilo.
I intend to by a set of MSDS headers with some good low rumbling tone like at South County Motor. I having the upper intake extruded &honed. Change TB with SVT.
By a Pro-Flow 75 maf. Diablo chip on Top. IF and only if I'm happy with the results. A Quaifle T/b diff. IF my Girlfriend can still stand my driving (she does not drive) a New Radiator (the one that pushes 11 PSI into the intake manifold) I think that this engine would be proud to put 300hp on the asphalt.

This is one.
What you do is pull your spakr plugs one by one and then screw this hose into the spark plug socket.Pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine for a few seconds.the pressure shown on e=the gauge is your compression for that cylinder.Repeat for all cylinders.Haynes probably has the tolerances.
Here I have it for you:Lowest reading cylinder must be within 75% of highest cylinder.
Hell it doesnt give specs though.
