The car in that pic is Skrillas and IIRC it's a show car. I dunno how much he drives I and I doubt he drives it with those neons on at night. Personally I think his car is nice...not really my style but he put a lot of work into it and I can respect that and I'm sure it doesn well in shows. All this "rice" and "tackiness" and people being so damnned critical of OTHER people's rides is starting to get annoying. Now if it's just a hunk of crap with some stupid junk park bench wing and leds just bolted on sure, no real work was put into it but some of these cars "rice" or not people put tons of time and work into and should at least be recognized for that.

Personally I think ANYONE who feels that a person shouldn't own a Ford just because it doesn't meet THEIR tastes might as well just move along to another friggin messageboard because closemindedness like that leads to NOTHING. If not for the vision of some people around here we wouldn't have half of the few aftermarket parts that are currently available and all of our cars would look the same.

P.S. I never saw anything in my cars contract staing I need to be "above" ricers. I have different tastes than most "ricers" but that in no way makes me better or "above" them. I am a CAR enthusiast before a CONTOUR enthusiast and I will never claim to be better than ANYONE simply because their tastes don't match mine. Rice Nazi!

Neon lights beneath the car are very useful since it makes it easier to pick out the complete losers at night.

I think its up to you but if you are doubting it then don't do it. I can think of so many things to do to my car before I put neons in.with the right hook up that's your t.v and dvd

But the rice thing depends on who you are asking ask a nissa, volkswagen, saturn owner they will all have different answers

Like I said earlier, I am not a big fan of neon lighting.......it's probably best used at a bar or shop for all I care.

But with that said.........even though some of us may not agree with what someone has done to their tour or mystake (haha ), we should still respect the other guy or girl for that matter. It all boils down to respect, but don't let that get in the way of constructive criticisim.

i like neons if they are done right. i have actually ordered some for my blavk svt. the neons are white and i think they will look great with my car. i hate rice but if you think about it anything aftermarket would be considered rice, b/c what have they not made for a civic?

if you're doing it just to "stand out with the import boyz" then don't...you don't have an import so don't act like it.

Now if you want them because you actually like them and you think they will make your car nicer then go for it.
