I want to change the color of my footwelll lights from green to blue. It sounds simple but it seems that no automotive stores in my small town(3000) carries any of them. I went to NAPA and another local store and they all told me to paint them, but I really don't want to do that(having them fade and then having to repaint). Plus, I feel its stupid that they can't or maybe won't order them for me. If anyone knows where I could get some that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just put LEDs in as a replacement. They are usually alot brighter and use less power. You can get any colors. PM "auiotour" he can sell them really cheap. Or email him auiotour@comcast.net . I am getting some blue leds from him and I will be doing the same thing. Good luck

I bought the blue 194 bulbs from autozone for the footwells. Turned out to not be very bright at all, so I ended up going with a blue-neon setup under the dash for light, now that works good! I still need to get some pics... very cool install I have to proudly admit, I just tapped into the power that feeds those 194 bulbs and power the neon tubes that way. Tubes are nicely hidden and tucked up under the dash so all you see is this blue glow

Take it from me who bought blue bulbs for the wells. Just paint the bulbs until you get leds. Chances are if you buy a blue bulb that fits in there, its painted blue anyways. Mine have small chips on it already giving away that its a painted bulb. Save $$$
