I know very little about cars but here it goes. I was driving around last night and all of the sudden my car just shut off. So anywyas i started it back up and was on my way. About an hour later it did it again i was just driving and all the sudden it just shut off. So i decided i better park it and ask ya guys on here to see if anything was seroiusly wrong first. Anyone ever expirience this and/or know what would be causing it?

Lets see..
First thing, pop the hood, check the connections on the battery, sounds like a dumb solution, but take a look at that first, make sure everything is tightened on there. It could possibly be your fuel pump; no gas in the chambers, no power.. I'm sure some others will chime in soon with other possible solutions, good luck, I hope its nothing serious.

Now that i think about it, and you mention the battery thing, could it be my stereo drawing to much current? Because both times it happened i had my stereo cranked up.

I would doubt it.. Is your stereo stock? Unless you are running a crazy system or somethin. A stereo can draw current, but thats what a capacitor is for, I wouldn't see it taking all of the juice from your battery. Unless the battery is going bad.

Seriously doubt it would be the battery. My brother once had loose battery connections but car didn't shut off, lights and radio would just come on and off.
