I need to know what the indicator on the dash just to the left of the O/D light means. Mine comes on when I start the car every morning for a couple minutes then goes out. In the manual it says its the coolant level , but mine are all ok, what gives? thx is this serious?

not serious till it comes on and stays on for a while...you mean it shuts off when all your other lights do? if so dont worry about it. which light is it?

IIRC yeah, thats the coolant light. Fill the resevoir about 1/2" over the Max. line. This is a fairly common symptom/feature of the coolant tank sensor in our cars.

I have no idea what these morons are talking about here, it isnt your coolant level it is your transmission. The O/D light blinking indicates a problem with your transmission, it is not a good idea to drive it either. When mine did it I had it towed to the shop and replacing the transmission fluid, fixed it and the light never came on again.

Looks like you miss read that one, he says just left of the O/D off light, which infact is the low coolant light if so equipped
