I'm seriously considering going with a TruBendz standard catback(no resonator). First, what would be the difference of going with or without the resonator system. Secone, with personal experience, or not, what is the best choice of mufflers to go with, FlowMaster, Magnaflow or Borla?

You'll probably get mixed opinions on the mufflers but I personally having heard magnaflows and flowmaster prefer the magnaflows. But in reality they both sound good I just think the magnaflows sound a little meaner.

Removing the res will make your exhaust a little raspier and I believe a little bit louder. This is just going off of what I have heard people on this site say as I have never actually heard a 'tour with the res removed but it seems that (especially on startup until the engine is warm) the res(less) setup is rather raspy. Maybe someone who went that route will post with some more useful insight. I went the cheapo route of replacing my stock mufflers and res with magnaflows and it sounds nice and gave me a lil more pep and a much cheaper price than an entire catback setup. I may go true duals later on...up in the air on that for now.

No resonator equals tons of DRONE and more rasp.

Definitely use a resonator to avoid the tacky ricer sound!!!
