If you have a 98 or early 99 chances are you have a fuel pressure regulator. This is located slightly under your UIM. Theres a vacume line connect to the top of the fpr that runs to the right into the zex kit.

The FPR sits right under the TB opening of the UIM...It's easiest to loosen the bolts on the UIM and have someone lift it so you can pull the vacuum line off it.
It should be like a red plastic hose with a black 90deg angle boot connected to the top of the FPR. You connect the Zex fuel line to that...
You need to follow the the original FPR line and find where it connects to, and then run that to the "intake manifold" line from the zex box. That'show they label it in the instructions.
If you have a post 99 with the retrunless system, then your zex dry kit will not work...

My car was produced in 12/97....so i think i have return style ..ok i think i got it all figured out....thanks for the help...i went ahead and got ngk tr6 plugs at .035"...that should be good for a 55-75 shot right...i dont plan on much usage...but i dont know how long that will last, i am trying to avoid buying a custom burnt chip right now..i have a superchip now which i will have to remove and sell...i wish i could get a chip or something to jus change shift points...i have an atx.

I investigated today under the tb and uim....directly under the what i guess would be the egr valve and where the throttle and cruise control cables connect there is a t connector with vaccuum hoses on it.. the hose(hose 1) on the top of the connector runs somewhere back behind the engine...the hose(hose 2) coming outta the t going left goes directly under where the tb meets the uim.. and the hose( hose 3) coming out the bottom appears to go under the (hose 2) to some sort of body where the two fuel lines also go into....now of those three hoses which goes into the the zex comp...instead of its port...then i woudl run hose (x) from the zex comp to its port..
second question the wire for the tps would be the white one coming off the sensor, correct, there are three wires on it..a brown, white and yellow.
I need to know how to do this quickly(under 3hrs)..becuz i am not actually allowed to do it..and want to know exactly how everythin goes before i start
Thanks so much

You run the one connected to the top of the fuel pressure regulator to the line in the zex kit. If I remember correctly, you are right on the white wire on the tps.

would that be the hose coming off the bottom of the t connector into the unit with the two fuel lines...or is the hose coming off the middle of the T into the bottom of the UIM...and i think its the yellow wire that was the only one pushing out any voltage
