I hear alot of people talking about Doug's Muffler and how they do true dual exhaust for cheap. Where is that located and about how much did it cost you guys? Also, what kind of set-up do u recommend?
Anyone wanna sell an SVT Tour Rear Bumper?!!

Well I don't know what "cheap" is, but they charge about $300.00-$350.00 to do true duals and thats just piping. Thats what I spent in the late fall/early spring of 02'  Dougs was the first to do a true dual system on a Contour and have done many since then. Dougs is located about a mile S of Hall Rd and Gratiot, located on the E side of Gratiot, right before the road goes back together (if your familiar with Mt. Clemens you know what I mean ) PM me and I might be able to meet you up there on the weekend or maybe we could make a mini-meet of it, thats what we did when I had my system done. There was like (9) other Tours there, either getting work done or just hangin' out. FYI though, call and talk to Doug Jr, nice guy

your best bet is to call and ask for Jr and see if he can open the shop on a sunday if you have more than a couple contours to do.....he is the only one I would have bend one up....

This would be kinda like a GB/meet then, set it up and we'll all show up. BTW, you might wanna bring Doug Jr and the guys a case a beer, nothing wrong with tipping (not that kind of tippin', tipping  ) I'm sure if you get enough people that need work done he'll do it, hell, he hasn't seen any CEG-ers in a while. Just tell him WE all sent you

i drove there from ohio to have mine done. that was the first day i ever rode in a SVT when roger met me up there. i would def. make another trip up there to have him do another car. as of next weekend i will have 2 95SE's.....the new one, the winter car, has headers and such on it already. Ben

I drove all night down there this summer (9 hours) to get my duals. Noone up in the middle of nowhere could do it that good so I went with it. Doug Jr seemed like a nice guy. I don't really remeber much though as I was so damn tired!

So it's $300-350 for piping. Plus mufflers, tips, resonator? What hardware exactly do you need on a true dual setup? What does the total cost come to approximately usually?

Does Doug use stainless steel or what? If not, Watson engineering does and they custom bend everything. It may cost a bit more than 350, but were are talking the real stuff here, not the standard pipe......
