Yes I did search before asking but the forums I found weren't to useful. What parts could cause the car to idle at 4000 rpm in park as soon as I start the car. How can I check to see if these parts are good?
I know I need new valvecover gasket this cause the problem?
if it's a ATX non-SVT V6, don't worry, mine does the same thing. It's a little thing called the rev-limiter. It idles once i hit 4000 but, then very quickly tries again, and again, and again, never going below 3500 while flooring it all the way.
