Is the SVT fuel pump diff than standard cont #756461 09/25/03 09:36 PM

OP dluv New CEG\'er D Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 28	I did search for this I am having my fuel pump replaced on a 2000 SVT contour. Is the fuel pump different than the standard contour's? I over heard the mechanics discussing this and was curious. I didn't know if this was a standard part for all contour models or if ours was diff in some way-like the sock or something. If they are different is there a way to tell which one they put on after installation. Thank you -input would be very helpful since my car is coming back to me tomorrow.

Make sure you tell your mechanic to NOT put on the round filter disc on the bottom of the pump housing. "...first he's gonna s*!t, then he's gonna kill us." 1999 Contour SVT Retrojunk.com
