Ok so I know you guys are dying to know what has been going on with my fight with Mr. Tire/Mile One.
...maybe not but I'm going to let you guys in anyways.
As you guys know from my previous thread, my wheels have clamp marks in them from when Mr. Tire aligned my wheels.
Since June 20, 2003 I have been fighting with them to get the wheels fixed or to replace them. Up til 2 weeks ago I was in almost daily contact with the head of customer service in the corporate offices. During these past two weeks I have emailed her twice and also left messages on her work phone with no responses from anyone. So I took Kokopellian(sp) up on his offer with advice on taking them to small claims court if they kept on ignoring me.
Yesterday I decided to give them one more try and to my suprise the woman answered the phone. She informed me that she was no longer handling the case and to call her boss and leave a message on his voicemail about the situation because no one had contacted me in the last two weeks. She transferred me and I left my message in great detail.
This morning I woke up to two voicemails. One from Mike Quinta the regional manager around here and one from Ken Neaton, the manager at the Laurel store that clamped up my wheels. They are replacing my wheels with the exchange of me giving them my wheels back. Which is fine with me because I just want my wheels back to mint condition.
Also I don't know if I had mentioned it to anyone else besides Pete but I think my offset on these wheels is wrong because if I go into a dip too fast my calipers rub on the inside of the spokes in the wheels. Anyone know where I can get some spacers? Would only have to be a couple mm like maybe 2-3 max. Anyways if you guys know where I can get some, let me know either by posting or by PM.
