whell i think i figuered out why my car is running rich. i think i have leaky injectors cause 15 min after you shut the car off there is no pressure in the fuel rail. i am guessing the the injector stays open all the time so even when it is supposed to be closed fuel still gets through. hence more fuel than needed and wola a rich condition so i went to my dads jeep to see if it had pressure, it had been sitting for a few hours and it still had full pressure in the system. so i tried some injector cleaner in my car.

95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!

There are other things that can allow the fuel pressure to leak down. Most noticably, the check valve in the fuel pump. Actually, for the pressure to leak down in 15 minutes is not really all that abnormal.

we checked my dads jeep after sitting for 4 hours it still had tons of pressure mine did not even drip out of the check valve
