Check the motor mounts. If they are bad, you will keep going through axles.

what size rims do you have cause ford CV joints do go alot quicker if you have huge wheels on you might need to get uprated bearings

To address the posts so far... I replaced the entire axle setup on both sides. What is this extras support your talking about? If I replaced the whole axle would that have changed out this support your talking about?
Second, I did replace the motormounts before I did the axles in an attempt to fix this shake.
Finally, I am riding on a stock suspension and wheels.
You guys are comming up with some great ideas so far, some of which I had thought of myself. Keep them comming, maybe one will be the key!!! Thanks alot! -Nick

On the passenger side the axle is quite a bit longer than the drivers side. There is a support bearing about 8" from where the axle mates to the transaxle. (midway between ATX and PS steering knuckle/bearing.) I believe this support bearing is usually included when you buy a PS axle assembly but I haven't done this repair myself, so don't know for sure. (?)

you might want to check your rear Tranny mount...if the mount is weakened or broken it causes the engine/trans assembly to drop a little lower and to the rear. This puts extra pressure on your drive axles and causes them to fail then you get the annoying vibrations when you accelerate and everyones favorite popping noises when turning
