Love my Mystique, even though it used to be an abused shut in.....  I think I fixed everything that the previous owner broke, so it's like new now.

Love my car a lot (of miles) not many problems at all. This is the third contique that I have driven/owned for a and all have been good.
95 mystique : 150,000+ miles currently (parents car but I drove it for a year or 2 before getting my own.)
98.5 contour SE : bought used at 26,000 and totaled at 50,000 miles.
2000 Contour SE : Bought new in sept 2000 current car now.
2000 Silver SE Sport V6 MTX, B&M shifter, SVT exhaust, 75K on the clock.

Love my car , runs smooth as a stream line missle and never acts up on me ever. Only problem I have ever really had is fuse for pow windows blows all the time. Thats all. I am experiancing problems with my cold air intake but that has nothingto do with the factory equipment. My theory is ..If you hate your contour ..then why are you an enthusiast?

Angel, sorry to hear it, man. I know you love the car, but if it's a lemon, it's a lemon. Ford is responsible for that, not you. Lemon law comes into effect before 7 fixes, right? God I hope so. Good luck, bro.

I've owned my tour since 1999 (a 98' 60,000 kms off a lease when I bought it)
Out of pocket:
I've only changed the oil and and fixed a tierod.
And of course about 3 recalls...
I've never had a cheaper car to run...and I love running it.

Well my experiences with my first contour rocked, then I accidently totalled it, and now I have this one = pain in the arse. I have so far had to tear engine down to lower manifold to replace a hose that broke, have a problem with transmission, which it may go any day, and now have what appears/sounds to be a problem with one of my lifters, so I am not totally sure how long she will be staying with me. I love the cars, but after this one I have just lost so much trust in them.

I love my car. It drives great! Even though this is the car's 2nd engine. But it was driving fine before that. I have a question! Did SVT do anything to the Zetecs before the SVT Focus? Cause my mechanic says that it is an SVT engine.  Anyone else have this said to them? But I love my car it halls. It has been great for me. Now if only I can get more aftermarket support. ESPECIALLY WITH BODY KITS!!!!

99 misty 2.5 ATX no mods - love this car, wish it was 5 speed but beside that - no problems !
