Ok, I tried to put a tach equipped cluster from a 99 Mystique Zetec into my girlfriends 99 SE Zetec, but she don't have the tach signal wire. Does anyone know off hand how to find the tach wire? I heard it just dead-ends somewhere. Also, how can I splice this wire into the tach plug on the new cluster? I thought it had to have a metal pin inside the plug for the wire to work? Any info would really help me out here. Thanks guys!

Not saying that it doesn't have the info I need, it's too jumbled...one person says about the coil pack and the other says about running the wire from the firewall, but I'm no electrician, so when they talk about resistors and the different frequencies, I have no clue.
