How does this sound:
Three weeks ago i took my svt to the track(Tuscon,az). The elevation is 3000 feet and i have never driven her like this before. My first run was 16.5 with a crap load of wheel hop. I lost to a CADDY STS, no biggy. The next race was against a WRX, a friend of mine, who was running 14.5 to 16.0 depending on the launch. I actually caught the light first and had him for a second, then my shift cable came off when i shift from 1-2 so when i tryed 3 it wouldn't go in, he ran a 16.5 and i ran a 18.9 in only two gears. What do the peoples of CEG think i can run with the mods posted at 3000 feet since i have a new clutch now and a fixed shifter cable THanx

Sounds like you should shoot for a 15.7

YOu shouldnt be getting any wheel hop, try being more gentle with the clutch and feathering it out.

No offense, but it doesent seem as if your friend is a very good driver.
