Hi all, I was chatting to a guy in the pub the other night, turns out he runs a transmission shop in Surrey, B.C. (Atlas)
Well I asked him what he thought of the CD4E that we are so fortunate to have in ATX's (!) When his face came back to normal he did mention something about the ground strap needs checked to ensure that it is a good ground otherwise the transmission will try to groung itself burning out the bushings inside! The ground strap is somewhere near the starter, just undo it, clean it up, and reconnect! Sounds easy enough, does this make any sense to anyone out there, or is this guy pulling my leg?
