Let me tell the whole story..... Third gear went out. I was going to rebuild the tranny myself except I couldnt get it out of the car. So I decided I would buy a low mile tranny have a shop swap the two out and presto be done. I would later rebuild the original and recoperate my losses in money. Well i didnt quite work out, when I got the car back from the tranny shop I got under the car. For starters the steering wheel was 90 degrees off, steering rack was loose, sub frame not tighten at one corner(bolt was actually hanging!) power steering hoses on top of my exhaust, front directional wheels were on backwards, I think thats everthing from the 1st visit.
I took the car back and they fixed everything but the steering rack. I drove it for about two weeks and the replacment tranny went south.(I beleive there was something wrong with it from the junkyard.) Since the tranny shop needed to fix the steering rack I took it back to them, had the tranny removed,I rebuilt my original. and gave it to them to put in.
The junkyard wont give me my money back for the replacment or even a exchange which pisses me off but that is another story.....
I pick up the car and start the drive home everything is kosher until I start to here a whine from the tranny. Im thinking to myself "Great i screwed up the rebuild probably have the bearings to tight." I am almost home so I continue. When I get to the house the first thing I do is get under the car. Front motor mount loose, one of the shift linkage cables is missing the bushing and is just hanging there, but hey they got the steering rack tight  I sart to check the fluid level and take out the fill plug , stick my pinky in the hole....dry. Hmmm maybe they didnt top it up all the way. I then stick a flexible magnet in the hole....still dry.

Well hey lets take the drain plugout and see if they PUT FLUID IN. Not a drop "holi $hit"
I tow it back they put fluid in and everything seems fine. I go home, go to work, take a lunch break and on the way back the shifting is getting real notchy then..... I cannot get it in any gear. Feals like there is air in the hydralics... there was I blead it out, but it still doesnt want to go in gear, I get it home change the fluid, no metal (but who knows what the magnet looks like) It can go in gears now... but VERY difficult. It wont go in revearse, and when I can get it to shift to 2nd it sounds almost like clicking CV joints. I am taking it back Monday but would like to hear some ideas to what has happened befor this place gets tired of me. I also found a unattached ground wire.
Thanks for any input on either what has happened to the tranny, what I should do about the junkyard, and what I should do about the tranny shop. I now wish I would have taken the extra effort to remove the tranny myself, I wouldnt be sinking in this boat right now if I had.
