Geez! I had the same problem before I gutting my precats. It was a rare moment for me to get above 5500 RPMs. Now it easily screams up to 6000 and every now and again it will go up to 6500 during a 2 gear down shift.
As for overall shift points... I can't say for certain. I will check though. It would nice to compare with everyone.
It would be very interesting to see what people are getting with and without chips installed also.

*Note* These specs, from the 98 service manual are based on speedometer reading and not tach readings. I guess this was because some cars did not have a tach installed. These are all upshift operations. I did not include any of the downshift or coasting operations.
