OP daniel New CEG\'er D Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 12	I'm trying to add a tach to my 98 "tour. I can't figure out which wire I should tap into for the tach. My "tour is a std 98 zetec. I looked into my Haynes book and couldn't find it. It did say that the cars did have an optional tach, but the wiring was different. All I gotta do is find that wire.....(needle in a haystack).

I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but after reading through about 200 reply's I found something. One of the guys mentioned having a how-to at his website. I have learned my lesson just because they're talking about mounting locations doesn't mean I shouldn't read through them . I hope I didn't ruffle too many feathers. But, if you've used the search you know that finding things can be more complicated then simply asking. I spent about 3 hrs. trying to find that.(no bs)!!!
