Just wondering if there is a way to put a 2000 2.0 zetec in my 95 contour? I just want to get this car working again and will be quicker and cheaper to just buy a used motor.

95 Contour Gl - the work beater - bought 6/15/03 88 S-10 Blazer - back up beater - owned since 89 97 Cobra Vert - my weekend toy - bought 12/01

yes with a new computer/wire harness.... your 95 is OBD1 and the 2000 is OBD 2

What exactly is wrong with your 95? If its internal engine failure, then a used engine swap is worth pursuing. The engine will not be an easy bolt in. If its from a '00 contour/zx2/cougar you have to deal with the VCT, or if its from a focus you're gonna have to costumize the accessory brackets since the accessory bracket locator holes are in different places on the block. Your best bet for an engine swap is a pre-98 zetec from a contour: look here . hope that helps.
