u gotta turn ingition to ON to get codes, but not have engine running. o2 sensor will only go bad if something is making it go bad. And it could be your MAF..... IIRC the computer uses certain data that doesn't give you good performance, just keeps car running if MAF isn't hooked up.

Hey guys this is f@cking awsome, I replaced my MAF and still have the same problem. I love how my paychecks are disapearing on my car, yet my car doesnt get any faster. I would like to get this stuff fixed cause I do want to get some performance mods! But I guess Im going to go to ford and see what they say about the DPFE sensor, I have no clue where it is located so Im going to ask if they can show me so I dont have to pay 75 bucks in labor! Thanks for all the help guys.

ok guys it been a minute sents i have said anything in the group computer died on my just like my car seems to want to do now i have read everything everyone said to do and i have done it all the way from the plug wires(9mm ford racing), spark plugs(autolite DP), MAF cleaned,fuel filter, fuel system clean, engine flush, thermostate, and i am using 93 octane gas, but i still have major lag off the light like the car is about to die and i hit the gas now and the brake light comes on and when i hit the brake it goes off in the morning i start the car and it starts up but cuts right back off ohhh i forgot i had my timing belt changed and all the tentionors put a new valve cover gasket on to but back to what i was saying is the cut will cut off after starting then when i start it up again it will start and idle will drop like its going to die again then the idle goes up like i just hit the gas i dont know what the hell it could be i get no engine like or anything at all i am at 105000 now do yall think i may have to change the mounts and maybe the coil is going bad i dont know what the f@##$ is going on let me know D@#$% please ohhh and my temp indecator goes up the the normal place and then i look at it and it is at cold again then look at it and it goes back up the the he!! is going on

Now, is this because of the superchip? or because you want to. If the latter, that isn't necessary, and the money you save, could be put into finding your real problem
