just came back from the dealership. they put the 'stique on the diag and found that i need a bank #1 & #2 sensor replaced at $136/each, 1.5 hr labour for bank #1, and 1 hr for bank #2. they also said that the IMRC was stuck closed and will eventually need to be replaced, at a cost of $450/500.
do these sound like reasonable prices, or am i getting fleeced? does anyone have any alternatives that i can look at? i live in scarborough, sp i need a relatively close alternative.

The stealership is ripping you off. If you own a 7/8 wrench and know how to turn it you can change your own O2's. There is a Bosch replacement available at most autoparts stores for $65 USD a piece.

www.oxygensensors.com and if you have an autozone, you can get a loaner o2 removal tool. It's like a normal socket except it has a slit in it for the o2 wire to go in.
