Some stations are re-broadcasting their 9-11 footage, and playing it as if it happened today, with the live commentary that went on that day.
Am I the only one that still gets chills on their back watching it? I know it's been two years, but man, this is still pretty rough.
R.I.P. everyone.

Nope not the only one. Kind of funny how the Presidents approval rating was 90% when we first sent troops. Now it's down to 55%. That's where it was before 9/11. How quickly we forget. I don't!

No TV for me today. Don't need that in front of me again. If I close my eyes, it's all there.

Being at work at the time, I had to listen to it all on the radio. I'd give anything if the ABC News broadcast from that day was available.
Speaking of which, is there any way to dig up the thread from CEG on that day? As most of the major websites were essentially useless the CEG served as the primary source of info for many folks. It'd be interesting to re-read that too.

Watched GMA this morning and they were broadcasting the tape of the planes hitting the WTC. Real hard to see. They have children reading the names of all that lost their lives that day. At the end the kids read the name of their parent. Had to walk away. Allen P. Merdinger WTC Tower II Forever in our thoughts and prayers

I don't even have to close my eyes... on my way in to work I get a great view of the Boston skyline... the feeling/thought of "what the f*ck would I do if that happened here" came RIGHT back.
The strange thing is... I was FINE last year. I was in the midst of my MCSA testing, which I guess was a distraction, but, I'm just... I dunno. I just feel like something's missing.

We need never forget, it makes me angry to watch it all again, the kind of anger that makes me support the war even more. I wish they would also show how far we've come since, they need to cover how many of those terrorist have been captured and killed, and other good that has come from the tragedy.

I still get them. After dropping off my wife at work today, they had the moment of silence on my way home. Still got teary eyed. Anytime I think about it, I get upset over it. I was born and raised in NYC and my dad and I always spent our time in Manhattan. I have hundreds of pics of me at the top and bottom of the towers.

60 Minutes II had a great feature last night with the Prez; and evidently he keeps a list of terrorists photos in his desk drawer. When asked if he actually crosses them off when they're killed or captured he said, "I might put a little check next to them, yeah."
