OP SVT JET II CEG\'er S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 70 Dexter, Michigan	Just wanted to share some of the pictures I got from my last track event this past weekend at Mosport just outside Toronto Canada. The track was described as a thrill ride, but as the classroom instructor said, it is like describing the colour red to a person who was blind from birth....you have to experience it to truly understand what the track is like. The track is like you combined Watkins Glen + Road America + blind corners. 90+ down a blind corner you committed to while droping 3-4 stories in about 600 ft distance.. http://www.fototime.com/inv/0437B5FF60A1CD7 It was the best time I have had in a while. Unfortunately, I could not keep up with all the M-powered muscle down the straight but at least I stuck to them in the corners...not bad for the first time.

Good friend of mine from my auto-x days driver HER own 2003 M3 on track events whenever possible. Prior ride was a 98 (IIRC) M3 with lots of aftermarket bits. Couple seasons ago s he bought a Z3 for auto-x and then sold it because she had to finesse it vs. being able to use the muscle of the M3 motor. The first M3 was her gift to herself after her husband of 20+ years fell off Everest while on a climbing expedition. Nice lady. One of the fastest by far auto-xers in the club was an early-20s, very attractive woman. She moved on to track days in a Formula Ford IIRC. Women do drive track events. Also have you replaced your fog lights with brake ducts?? If so do you have any pointers for a track dog like me on how to get ducting that will help braking?? ALso what tires are you running.
