Is there any way to do this? Long story, but I now have about 50 random scratches all across my windshield. It's not really a big deal during the day, but at night when lights reflect off of it, it's a real problem.

You didn't brillo pad it did you? Not sure how you can get scratches out of a windshield but to buy a new one!

Good Luck

My folks had my car down in Florida for a few weeks, and it came back like this.. My best guess is that when my Dad used a squeegee to clean off all the bug crap at some gas station, there must have been some junk caught in the sponge that scratched the heck out of the windshield. I showed it to him today, and he played dumb.

A new windshield is out of the question, as a replacement is VERY expensive for this car, especially since the radio antennae is built-in. I thought I heard that some of these could be buffed out somehow, but didn't know the details on it and was hoping someone here had some experience in this department.

Maybe if they are light, I've never done it before would seem once glass is scratched it would take some kind of filler to fix it depending I guess on the scratches. With cars the buff process works only if the scratches are very very tiny otherwise its repaint time and only on scratches that are finish level :\

Just curious, is it the Boxter or the SLK?

Might try this or this.

I'd call an auto glass place and see about them polishing it out for you though.
