Has anyone had engine problems that resulted from the timing chains on the 1995 V-6 loosening?

I know there is a tech bulletin from Ford to replace the chain tensioners with newer ones to deal with engine noise on start up, but has anyone had additional problems?

I now have several bent valves, one broken one, and a hole in one piston because the timing chain slacked off and jumped, just wondering if I'm alone on this one.

Nope, I've heard of it happening before, but it certainly is not common.

Have you had any work done on the car recently? If the tech turned the engine in the wrong direction at the crank pully, the chain may have slacked & jumped a tooth or two.

If nothing else, this is an opportunity for a 3L.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
