Nice find!

Nice vids. But it had to be staged. Comeon a base Boxster and they even said that the tires on the M3 were not suted for the track. The guy in the S2000 said he wished he could put the top up cause with it down he'll have a hard time keepin up. Pluse the GTR ran blocker more than anything, to keep others from passing the 350Z.

well this isn't a brand new vid. it was made when the 350z first came out in japan. it was made to see how the Z would perform on the track and against other compition. staged or not, i still thought it was a good vid. like the one part when the s2000 and the m3 were rippin around that turn and the s2000 was like 8 inches behind the m3. and then the bonus vid with the tureno (sp?)

There's another one with the 350Z, M3 and G35 coupe. I think they are somewhat staged. They made the M3 start waay in the back and it stayed behind til the last lap where it rocketed past both to win.

yeah the porshe boxster is a total babe magnet but not as much power as you would think. i dont know about the boxster s but i had a friend let my brother and i borrow her 1999 boxster this weekend and i wasnt that impressed by the horsepower in it. my brother came home after a drive and said he toasted a svt mustang late 90's to maybe 2001 model. i said no f'in way and called a friend with a bone stock 1997 svt cobra less horse than a 2000 and raced on hwy 78 here in atlanta,ga and he wasted me, and i am alot better driver than my brother. it got me alot of looks and stares from the ladies and alot of hater stares from the guys but thats all i think the porshe is good for is looks, cause it surely lacked in the power department. sounds weird but i take my svt contour over that porshe anyday of the week. mine almost took the boxster i had better acceleration from 3-5 gears but in cornering he wasted me, and of course 1-3 was all tourque but after that my brother ate my dust from the csvt. just my thought on the porshe.

Case in point: WRX STi.... same here as is there, besides the right hand drive.

I remember before the sti came out here, reading in auto mags about the STi that has a 2.0L engine, is that what they have there or did they get upgraded to what we have (2.5L)?
