I've decided to sell the 'tique. wanted to give people on here first dibs. Only things wrong with it are a cracked windshield. Just had the tranny flushed with Amsoil full synthetic, cooling system was flushed this spring, it gets mobil 1 oil and a k&n filter regularly. here is a pic recently no contour enthusiast light even my 17's have a good 75 % tread left, my stockers have brand new Firestone Affinity SH30's, brakes are about 50% on the back, 55% on the fronts. mods include: DMD, new wires (FMS) and plugs (autolites), bat intake pipe, Dtec heat shield, 8.5 inch long K&N, and true dual 2" exhaust with gutted cats. Pioneer CD player (with organic screen - doplhins swimming and such). Black Cat Custom white faced guages, Im also in the GB for the EL Glow SVT guages, they will be tossed in if someone buys it. i have tons of pics, so let me know if you wanna see more. offer is on the table this weekend. after that she may be gone..... pm me or email me @ jordanmarling@telus.netcall me @ 780-903-3625

Well car is gone, my new car albeit a little older is of similar distinction to the contour. But is an upgrade to me and now I will have a standard with over 200 horsepower and a 3 liter. Car is still loaded as my mystique was. My main reason to sell is the need to save on insurance, by dropping collision (and crossing fingers, perhaps even driving less aggresivly) I can save. Plus the auto on my car, my trans worked great but no matter how many thousands of dollars I put into my car it was still slow. ~30% drivetrain loss + our elevation here didnt help for times, which is one thing I do regularly - track it - 1/4 mile and hopefully auto x to come. with the auto it just wasnt suited for that, and the gearing blew my mind. 1st gear would rev out at over 70 km/h, 2nd would be close to 140, 3rd was over 200. enjoyment of the car was great but I could only enjoy 1st gear really without getting in too much trouble. plus going up to those speeds with that gearing + drivetrain loss = painfully slow. If my car were an MTX as I wanted I would have kept it and poured more money into it. With an ATX there is only so much you can do and so fast you can get. So the car is gone, some parts stripped off and for sale. Others went with the car (near Calgary). My 17" rims (that I'm still paying for) are for sale. They can be viewed on my site @ 17" Konig Absolute's sporting 215/45/17 R - rated Potenza RE730 rubber They come with hubcentric rings, tuner lugs, 1 locking lug per wheel (so they require 2 keys to take off each wheel). They were on my car the last half of last summer and this summer up to now. PM me for details.

1994 SHO MTX love the car so far, was very very clean, well taken care of, have to fix a few minor things. coming up will be tinted windows, blizzacks for winter, stereo, el glow guages, shift boot and knob. I just wish my mystique rims (which are for sale ) would fit it.

Car is good so far, the 'tique looked way better but I've surprised a few people already... they never suspect a taurus to rip past them like they are standing still.
Tried a trial run on the gtech on a road where my best on the 'stique was 16.9, it showed me 15.8 @ 93, on a babied launch, slow shifting (still getting used to the car) and had to go around 2 cars.
this weekend its maintenance time, wanna make sure its running good. car feels strong tho, chirps the tires in 2nd shifting at 5000 rpm. and is a fully loaded machine, almost the same as my parents 2003 Navigator.
