That sucks.... back when I was littler, we were riding it and it started to rain and you could see the train lifting on the track,,, they stopped it after our ride. That sucks that somebody died at disney land.

What really sucks is that he had to pay 50 bucks to get in to Disneyland, pay a minimum of 5 dollars for any form of food or beverage, and then die on a rollercoaster after waiting in line for 2 hours.

I found it kind of odd that this is one of their "newest" rides, built in 1979. 
I have never been to any Disney place in 24 years and don't see a reason to change anytime soon.

I love disneyland!!! I would live there if they let me. My sister worked there and her husband currently works there. It turns out that the cable for the track has snapped MANY times before. My sympathy goes out to that family. You go for a fun time and end up losing a loved one. How horrible! Fatalties occur everywhere but at the happiest place on earth its just unexpected.

The Walt Disney Corporation is one of the most insidiously evil entities of our time. I hope the injured and the families of the deceased end up owning the whole company.
Personally, I wouldn't let my dog go to Disneyland or Disneyworld, let alone my children. (I did go to Pleasure Island in Orlando, once and had the most fun time in my life - is that Disney???)
