That K&N filter is probably the most popular on this site (#3530) and will flow enough air for a lot of mods. The MAF adapter looks good to go. The little moutning bracket is a nice touch, as it'll keep your AF from "sagging" down and toward your battery. But if you drive in a lot of hot weather, you'll still get heatsoak unless you build a heat sheild. But $100 is a little pricey.

A MAF adapter can be had for $26 shipped from duratechperformance.com, and the K&N can be had for $35 shipped from Jegs.

So is the colored MAF adapter and that bracket worth $49? Might be to you...but performance wise...its a solid set-up.

Thanks for the input man. I found it on EBAY and it was only going for like $60 so I figured that that wasnt a bad price. I am new to upgrades so Im kind of leary on what I should put under the hood to give a little boost. Any other suggestions would help too.

The MAF adaptor needs to be the right size for your SVT. You may want to look into that. The website didn't say anything about SVT's. The MAF adaptor that the SHO shop sells is larger than the one from Duratech performance. I'm not sure what the size is do a search. That does look like a nice kit, see if you can find out the ID of the adaptor.

Forget the K&N. Go for the cold-air intake. Drops engine temps to 68' vs. 168' even with a "heat shield.
