like the subject title says. Denzo Iridium spark plugs. Can anyone spread the knowledge about these spark plugs? I saw it on the Car and Driver episode on TV just today.

Good? Bad? what does CEG think?

I am about to purchase some. I have done some research and they seem to be great. I have not read one bad thing from these plugs. They even claim some horsepower and mileage improvements (not sure if true). But at $11 a plug . They may be a but pricey for most. I would reccomend if your boosted. Thats just my opinion.

and you are about to throw away over $60....these plugs are NOT a good match for our type of waste fire ignition system...while they may be good for SOME cars, they will NOT perform well in our cars..if you'd done some more research(especially on this site)it has been talked about numerous times on here...

double platinum's are by far the best plugs for our ignition type, and those iridiums will not last long in your car...so why pay $11 each for plugs that are just going to prematurely fail???makes no sense to me...

Do a search on 'Iridiums' on the entire site.
This has been hashed out many times.
I think the general consensus is 'No to Iridiums'

I did search before just to see what was said. But I do not do except any technicl data from this site with one exception, its form the knowledgeable people, or from someone who can present themselves in a proper way. So when I searched I found one of the topics to end in a fart war over something stupid,I got sick if reading through 5 pages of BS to get to reasonble response. Guess who was in the middle "chrisilversvt". . Thats just one reason why I search elsewhere. Anyways I never did find any data from anyone who actualy used them and could claim yeah or nay. I am also someone that has Bosch+4s in my friends and I car and have 30-40000 miles on with no problems and both still getting 300+ miles to a tank. Know I there is evidence of premature failure with those, and I do beleive people have had problems, but since I don't its hard for me to come to a complete conclusion on the denso's or +4s. Once again its just my opinon. Flame away.
