I had to have the right front wheel bearing replaced, well.... guess what? It's starting to go AGAIN!!! mad This is becoming a trend w/ my car. It seems every 20K miles, this bearing is shot and needs replacement. frown The past 2 times were right around 20K intervals, with the last time having to replace the whole hub and bearing because I messed it up on a pothole. I would of thought that w/ a new hub and bearing that it would be good for longer. The front driver's side is still going strong, but of course, the pass. one likes to take a dump every 20K miles... Just thought I would vent... :p smile

FWIW,

The wrong offset on the wheels can overstress the bearings. Not saying yours are wrong, but worth checking.

You shouldn't have kicked the tire so hard when you were shopping for the car...

Have you put in your $0.02 to save contour.org?? Put in what you can spare to keep the site up. Check the General Forum.

I do know this, but I have just gotten the new rims. I had been driving around on the stock ones this whole time until just recently. Although it is wierd that just the front pass. side is the one that always goes bad...

maybe I should kick it harder because this keeps occurring... :p
