Well, the one I have is a 4-cyl auto (wonder where the "sport" comes in...) and it has alloy rims. I am wondering if there is any kind of suspension differences between it and a regular 4-cyl GL?

V6 Contours get 22 mpg!!!???
Sh!t my dad's 97 Grand Prix GTP (240hp/280 lb/ft supercharged 3.8 V6) gets 23mpg, and its a far larger and faster car than the Contour.

Lets see the GP out handle the tour. For the record that is an observed fuel mileage. If you were driving like the government rating expect you too you can get far better mileage. I've done 36mpg on my 4cyl. and I get close to 28mpg on my V6.

For the record, the milage on the GP is also actual milage, done both by myself the old-fashioned way, and the little "driver info display" computer thing on the dash.
Only real problem with it is the lack of a manual tranny. I hate slushboxes.
The GP has 225/60/16 tires, this low-slung elephant can dance!

I thought all "Sport" models were MTX. For Pre 98's, Sport model got; 15" 6 spoke alloy rims with 205/60 tires, Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, Fog lights, Tachometer, "Sport" logo on floor mats and badging.
