I just got a 1996 Contour GL Sport. With 38,000 miles. "Slightly accidented" on the right side, both doors history, fender seems OK.

I got the car for the transmission, but it has a good engine (well, 38k miles on it it better be good!).

I am wondering what I should do with the car afterwards. I would like to sell the engine off it since it is so nice, its a 2.0 Zetec that was mated to a CD4E.

I also need one alloy rim for it, it's a 15" painted rim.

How would I go about placing a classified ad here?

I'd say keep it and buy a separate tranny. Unless it's a salvage title... Replace the doors and she'd be almost good as new... Assuming no bent frames.
