I finally decided on the BAT kit (with adjustable camber/caster kit) for my 98 SVT with 75k miles. What a difference. I also had just had the SHO Shop subframe connectors welded on a few weeks before, which made quite a difference too.

We put Redline MTL in the transmission last night, even though it shifted pretty easily already. The gears are saying "Ahhhh".

Love my Tour!

I have to say..that is one proper install. Most people just put'em on, and "hope" everything is aligned within spec. The camber/caster kit...very smart. Did the alignemnt people make any cracks about them?

How much were you charged to get the subframe connectors welded on? Can you explain how the car felt different?

The car wallowed when the springs/struts needed replacing. We paid $70 to have the subframe connectors welded on and it gave the car more stiffness and stability, but it still didn't give me a feeling of confidence until I got the struts and springs. Particularly when taking a curve and hitting an irregularity in the road at highway speeds the car didn't feel sure. Now it feels great without being too harsh.

I don't push the car hard though.

Way to do the job right! Enjoy!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Glad I saw your post. I've been thinking about these mods recently. Can you give me an idea what it will cost to have the BAT suspension installed?

This is the kti from BAT that is $595 correct? And if so it is worth using the adjustable Camber/caster kit? Because when I mod my suspension I was also looking at the kit and would like to do it right. Sounds like you really like it. Good job

I've been thinking about getting this too.
Should I?
What else do I need to get with this suspension kit?

The BAT kit is a nice drop...and being "matched"...it works real nice together. The drop is tasty, w/out being "gaaaaawdam that's a nice lawn mower you got there..."

You don't "need" the camber/caster plates with the BAT kit, as the drop will still put you in factory specs, tho just barely. But as you'll have it all apart, and can really set the camber/caster for optimum performance...I'd say get'em...you won't be unhappy that you did.
