I HAVE A 1996 4CYL A/T CONTOUR GL DRIVING ON THE ROAD STRAIGHT ITS OK LEFT ITS OK EVEN A SLIGHT TURN TO RIGHT FEELS LIKE SOMTHING IS RUBBING SLIGHT VIBRATION IN STEERING WHEEL ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS

take right front wheel off and look in there for a rubbed spot, or perhaps shiny metal where contact has been.

Could be either.
Wheel bearing would make a moaning noise and a slight vibration. If the wheels are rubbing against something, you would be able to see what it was...or at least I would imagine.
Is your car lowered?

jack the vehicle up by the suspect tire. try to push and pull on the top and bottom and then try to push and pull on the left and right side of the tire. if you can see hear or feel any play/movement then the problem could be your TIE ROD/s or BALL JOINTS. hope this helps. if you need more help PM me or post here.

i agree with this. my car has the same sound, but does it to the left. replaced right wheel bearing, no difference. i think it's tire noise due to alignment issues (and possible bad tie rods and ball joint). sounds exactly like my bro's old 92 ranger with 33" bias ply thornbirds and my freinds 97 626 with nitto directionals.
