OP cakemix26_dup1 CEG\'er C Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 79 Mi	I've got a clarion DB625MP which has 2 sets of pre-outs. If i were to say, hook a LCD display up, would i have to purchase some type of device to allow input into the HU? Would a dvd player act like that? I'm pretty sure pre-outs don't act as inputs. GIT-R-DONE Hard-core CEG'er G Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 2,446 Playing in the mud!!	heres a quick break down. your source(dvd plyer/ps2/ wahtever you want) has 3 outputs: 2 audio 1 video, your lcd will have a power and ground wire with a video input, some come with outputs to run more than one, your fm modulator have 2 inputs for the 2 audio wires from the source, the 1 video output from the source goes straight to the screen, then on the other end of the fm modulator is two antenna wires, 1 connects to the factory antenna wire behind the radio and the other goes into your headunit. But would the FM modulator go between the other amps or would it got on a separate rca pre out line? The outputs on the fm modulator go to the antenna input on your headunit so no need for use of more pre outs. Formaly FLCEGkid Chris Bertrand 1995 Ford Contour Gl 2.5 V6 MTX FOR SALE! I'm 99% sure i'm with ya. The pic helps big time.
