Street racing is illegal & it can potentially kill innocents. We do not discuss that on these boards. You live in an area where you should be able to find a nice track to race on for about $40. SOLO I & II racing is legal & you will also get lots of folks helping you to hone your racing skills. Cool stuff, give it a try.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

In my area a night at the strip costs $25 to race, and all you need to bring is a helmet if you run less than 14 seconds. Plus you get your timeslips for bragging rights. You don't get that on the street.

With all those moronic kids out there and their soup'd up cars running nitrous and tubros I wouldnt even take the chance in racing them. They can't even drive down the road striaght with there car being sock, let alone with power adders. You wreck your car street racing against morons your insurance company isn't going to flip the bill either.

i go to street races but i dont race my contour. i just go to watch and chill with my friends and check out the chics. the chics that go to the races seem a lot cooler than teh chics i meet at the clubs. i tseems more dangerous now that the younger crowd shows up and dont know how to act. but usualy ill just go if i have nothign better to do.
