I feel your pain man. I tried just about everything under the sun to fix mine (Local Ford Dealer stripped it). I tried putting in the heli-coil but the tap is/was too big to fit with a socket on it. I ended up buying buckshot's heads and have a shop to the replacement (still fighting with them over the charges).
